Ticketing FAQs

A valid ticket is required for entry to all Celebration Zones, children 2 and under do not require a ticket.

How do I get tickets?

To ensure fair access, tickets will be made available via a ticket ballot. The ballot is free to enter, with registrations open from Thursday 25 November and closing 11:59pm Sunday 12 December. Names will then be drawn at random and those successful notified on Wednesday 15 December and provided with instructions on how to claim their free tickets.

Can I enter a ballot for a specific Celebration Zone?

Select the Celebration Zone you wish to attend during registration.

If my name is drawn in the ballot do I need to book my tickets?

Yes. Ballot winners are not automatically allocated tickets and will need to book tickets using the link provided in their email.

Will more tickets be released after the ticket ballot?

Any unclaimed tickets will be released via Ticketek at 11am Monday 20 December. These tickets will be available for anyone to book on a first-in basis.

How many times can I enter the ballot?

There is a limit of one entry per person, per Celebration Zone.

How many tickets can I book?

There is a limit of 8 tickets per booking. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket.

Do I need to book a carer’s or accessible ticket?

All tickets are free, there is no requirement to book a separate carer’s ticket. Simply book a ticket for each person attending (limit of 8 per booking).
